waiting...

okay, here's an admission...

i was really excited about creating a blog for our class. i thought that your response and enthusiasm would be so overwhelming, i'll be spending most of my days editing, posting, replying and re-posting some entries and comments.

i even thought that it would come to a point where comments and reactions would be so numerous, i would have to beg you to stop posting more than once in a day.

so i posted our first blog entry on jan10 and even made a sample comment the day after.

then, i waited...

and waited...

and waited...

finally a comment came in at 11:25pm from ms. kate kho.

and then other comments began trickling in. slowly but surely, people are beginning to discover and participate in our online blogging community.

it's not going as fast as i hoped, but hey, it's a start.

a very good start.

post. reply. share.

these are my expectations for the online component of our class.

now, it's your turn to speak.

what are your expectations for our class? what are your thoughts on the class so far? what are the difficulties your encountering as early as the third meeting?

post. reply. share.

p.s: just so you know, i have shelved off my dream of becoming an instant online editor. it's currently stacked up with other shelved dreams: astronaut, stealth fighter pilot, stand-up comedian, award-winning cinematographer. but hey, who knows? :)

now, what are your dreams and aspirations?

what are my expectations of the class...
even though the subject is catholicism in the modern world and i'm born again christian, i have found the topics discussed so far are pretty universal and not just focused on catholic traditions and beliefs. i also appreciate that topics are explained in a way that we, the students, can understand and relate to...good job sir, hehe! (sipsip?)

difficulties...
none so far...have to leave at 6:30 to get to school by 8, but i've been doing it for other subjects in the past so it's not a difficulty naman ;)

dreams...
- go to europe at least once in my lifetime
- meet a really famous person, someone like oprah, that famous!
- visit exotic beaches all over the world
- go on a safari in africa
- get married someday, have a happy family, live comfortably, be happy and contented with my life
- have a successful business...connected to my course of course, arts management
- have a diamond necklace that i can pass on to my daugther or my apo
...care to dream, you never know!

my expectations from the class is to be as one..that they can share their thoughts,we exchange knowledge with each other, their experiences in life so that people will learn from them and will see who they are...as for now i don't have any difficulties in life but i hope if the that time came i know i can survive it and stand for it...my dreams in life is to graduate from college and pass the board exam this year, to have a good and stable job,to have my own cafe or restaurant, to built and design my own house, and to get married to a responsible and good man and have children..

as odd as it may sound, i dream of going off into the mountains to become a hermit and isolate myself from all the stress of society and the pressing need to live your life like a machine. =_=

(p.s. i am not religious)

as for my expectations in class, i think that sir is doing an amazing job with showing us how catholicism is applied in our daily lives however, i'm a tad bit afraid that because he's very knowledgable in his field, his standards on our level of comprehension might be too high for us to achieve. i hope i'm wrong though. :)

thank you for the people who have been sharing their dreams, their desire to have dreams, and their jokes.

as to the "connection"-thing we do in class, in case i go too fast, just tell me, okay? we can repeat it for you or you can send me an email (ajoson@dls-csb.edu.ph) for your inquiries. questions and confusions are most welcome! :)

wanting to be a hermit isn't too crazy given our stress-burdened society. more on this in our class...

btw, wait for our upcoming entry "God & the I-pod"

at last! i have the time to check out our blog. this past week ive been busy chasing my dreams! yes im chasing my dreams again.. one of my dreams is to be a good volleyball player. ive been playing for the past 6 years. but when i got to college i still persue it but there's really a time when you come to realize whats really your priority, my tution is very high and i cant afford to fail my previous coach didnt gave me a scholarship so i stop playing because of financial reasons. its so devastating because i really want to play because this is my passion my life but i have to change track. iv been a student for like a year then previously i descided to train again for the last time hopefully they will let me play for the school (hopefully)(this is also the reason why i have back subjects)

my other dream is to be a master baker, master in pastry. the CSb school(hrim) was invited to participate in a cake decorating contest by goldilocks the school held an elemination and we must have a decorative cake as an entry luckily we passed the first elemination we are part of the top three in all the teams that joined. but here's the catch we need to make another design for goldilocks. so we are craming to make another design because we dont have the time. last friday we stayed in school up to 9 pm imagine my training was at 6 am in the morning so i need to wake up at 4 am and i left the school at 9 pm (daig ko pa ang nagtratrabaho at ako ang nagbukas at nagsara ng school parang Guard ang labas)hehe joke! but we failed to make another cake so we decided to past our first entry hoping that they will like it so we can compete for our school.

i was happy because i had the chance to do all of these things because these are my dreams but it will truly drain your energy..
but sometimes i feel that i cant control everything, that chasing your dreams is not only on your hands there are some will help you get trough some that will block your way but this should not stop you it shoul only make you stronger and make your dreams go higher.

my EXPECTATIONS in class....
first i was hesitant to take the subject becuase i thought that it will only be one of my many boring classes. but its really in the way of teaching the students. i have this class called enframa its an entrepreneur franchising management course that really bores us to death because of the prof. as time goes by in our class all the words that enter in my mind are blah blah blah blah blah and then your have a quiz ( lahat enumeration) enumerate the type of entreprenure enumerate what are the requirements in having a business what are the permits things and stuff like that that drives us crazy. most of the time when he is lecturing we cant understand him is like another language from other planet! ( sorry im really dont like him) we cannot learn anything! im really thankfull that not all professors are like that!
the class is not boring and i can learn a lot from it and its not difficult... at first? im just wondering how the oral middterm will go.. before i though that all religion classes are boring but its not! but the fact the our class starts at 8 almost all the students are still sleepy. ans sometimes our minds are still in bed.

ok that it ,adami na kong nakwento.. haayy kailangan pa namin pag tyagaan ang ENFRAMA namin. bye! it time already! i need my coffe to keep me awake.

im too wordy heheheh
to say it in conio (im so makwento!)hehehe joke!

Expectations in class? Well I guess to be able to share honest opinions (about the topics we discuss of course) and that hopefully those opinions would be respected even if they are rebutted.

Dreams? Well aside from the usuals (family life-related) I want to own a loft. I want to be able to finish the book I'm writing. I want to be an established artist. I want to be able to help and see a change in terms of how the Filipinos treat animals in the country. I want to tour Europe and Japan.

Dreams I didn't get to pursue? I really wanted to become a vet. For obvious reasons. Layo sa Multimedia Arts. :)
